Ah yes cup day... I see some people are not entirely happy with the notion of stopping work for a mere horse race. I say they are working in the wrong place!

In the place of my current employment we stopped for a bbq lunch which lasted 2hrs (at the end of which was the race) and I managed to come 2nd in the sweeps (well my horse did) and so actually make quite a tidy profit on the day.

this is fortunate indeed as I lost my monthly bus ticket on friday and had no money left to get into the city tomorrow, by which time I will have been paid again and so can grudginly afford to replace said lost ticket.

I wonder if it could be considered as justification for a murderous rampage? Not likely, not unless I was a zobie.
